Raising The Style Quotient Of Denim With Jean Rivets

By Lolita Jacobs

Denim jeans have always been and always will be an essential part of any wardrobe. Across cultures, countries and social segments, jeans are an absolute must-have. Having grown to become synonymous with fashionable clothing over the years, the accessories and paraphernalia associated with jeans, such as jean rivets, fancy buttons and loops have contributed to make them more of a style statement.

A sturdy decorative element on any garment adds a lot of visual appeal and raises its style quotient tremendously. Brands usually pay a huge amount of attention to equip jeans with fasteners of international standards. In fact, the higher the standard, the more would be the stylishness, good looks and reliability of the garment.

Being such an integral component of any good pair of jeans, these items of accessory are available in various shapes, sizes and kinds. Among the most common are the metal ones, usually with an anti-corrosion quality. This ensures that the rivet lasts as long as the jeans do. These are usually made of iron, brass or other alloys.

Other varieties include the copper and nickel finish variety. These lend a classic and antique look to the garment. Not only does this style complement a classic pair of jeans, it even raises the fashion quotient of a trendy pair of denims.

Another variety that is taking the world of trend by storm is that of colored buttons. These add more vitality and vigor and are, therefore, preferred by the youth of today.

Rivets that are to be affixed to jeans are made to look like nails. This is due to the fact that they have to penetrate through thick layers of the denim material of the garment. Poor quality does not work here. While reliability and quality are prime factors in choosing them by high-end denim brands, visual appearance is an equally important component.
