Jewish American News On Learning And Living Models

By Annabelle Holman

When it comes to issues in the middle east, all parties need to take responsibility for the destruction and loss of life going on in the region. It has been said in the Jewish American News and other publications that these parties include Gaza, Israel, Palestine and the West Bank. People in all of these areas have seen enough of this ongoing battle over land and whether or not an area deserves Statehood.

A number of well known news anchors are Jewish. Some even have talk shows related to community affairs. Regardless of the sect or whether one practices Kaballah, it is an interesting religion. Watching shows related to the Faith can help children and adult understand the different aspects in more detail. There are also music channels and programs devoted to music of the Faith including several videos which can be found on websites like YouTube and others.

Much of the war is a split over land, the other over religion. The religion being that of Judaism. One thing for sure the ongoing dispute has kept the anchors busy for decades. Unfortunately, some of the best of these broadcasters are now retired or have passed on. Some still working today, question whether or not a number of these infamous news professionals might have gone into another line of business if the media outlets in the past were as many are today.

One of the best ways to pass the time, especially during wartime, is to read the Zohar. The Zohar is the ancient text associated with the Kaballah; Much of the text is written in code that it is said has power simply by sight. It is the interpretation of the text surrounding the code which can help decipher the code.

Reading newspapers on a regular basis is often a good idea. There are several online newspapers created solely for the Jewish community. A number of different news broadcasters are Jewish, and some even have independent shows which deal with issues surrounding Faith. In some cases, these events may involve people from different backgrounds and religions so it is always good to attend with an open mind.

Some of the most exciting news at the moment relates to the opening of the Center for Jewish Learning and Living. The Center is a school that hopes to be a model for others around the country. It is experiential while at the same time remaining religious. Activities are ongoing and offer annual gatherings, weekend retreats, enrichment classes and ability oriented Hebrew pods. At times there may be events which require both parent and child to be in attendance. Most often, parents will simply drop off and pick up children for field trips after signing a release.

The U. S. Secretary of State is also trying to garner a Cease Fire. His trip to the middle east is the currently being reported on most news stations in America. With meetings with the heads of both Israel and Palestine, it is hopeful he will be successful in doing so. If not, then many populations around the world fear this newest uprising could lead to another wide spread war.

Children are often welcome in public school and private schools regardless of gender, race or religion. It is the children who often have a problem when bullied and request parents move them to a different school. If individuals could teach one another to be kind instead of hiding behind fear, it would make the world a much better place.
