My first nature shooting with all the Nikon D7000 and how an additional battery saved your day

I'm quite a devoted photographer and albeit I appreciated Canons greater than Nikons, my good friend never ceased to amaze me using the photos they got along with his Nikon D7000. From portraits and up to building panoramas, he was able to capture all things extremely aspect. My Canon EOS 7D also was able to perform a very good job in a number of environments, but after testing my friend's camera I just got in love with its sweet simplicity. Plus it happened that one day I spot this camera being offered at Amazon, so I simply couldn't resist but order it and also a Nikkor 18-105mm objective plus a spare Nikon en-el15 battery.

I used to be very enthusiastic if it finally arrived the very next day so I went ahead and enjoyed its large choice of potential settings to find out how well it performs for me. When i expected, everything was top-notch plus it felt considerably smoother than on my Canon. I obtained lucky to receive one high-quality objective which captured some stunning macros (I prefer in-house abstracts) and also very detailed portrays. However, I was thinking that has not been enough for me so I proceeded to do some outdoor shooting.

I live quite close to a wood area the location where the old trees are merely delightful and which hosts one of the most beautiful wild flowers That i've ever seen. Therefore, after calling my good friend to join me both of us headed on the woods. Specialists him to also bring his camera along to ensure that we are able to compare our results after the photo session. He came designed with a standard 50mm objective so I obviously have a small advantage immediately. The two of us proceeded to "shooting" birds around and i also realized that the Nikon D7000 has quite an outstanding response time. My older Canon also was able to do rather effectively with sporty photographs, however, these were better yet and sharper compared to those.

We all captured many of the trees' majesty and took some panoramas with the place which we had been to post on our Flickr accounts. However, if it stumbled on shooting the wild flower fields I obtained disturbed by way of a warning - my Nikon was running out of battery. It is true that I forgot to charge it each day before so that it was below half once we reached the woods. Luckily, I have got the spare Nikon en-el15 battery that I purchased off Amazon with me at night, so I quickly inserted to the camera in the hope it'll restore its power. Which was the first time I tested the spare battery, plus it actually was able to exceed my expectations.

After shooting the wild flowers and getting some portraits of my good friend, the battery merely lost 5% of the company's charging power. From then on outdoor venture I came home with about 300 high-quality photos that I immediately transferred to the laptop. They looked better yet on it than I hoped, so I can declare myself a truly satisfied customer. Nikon did quite an outstanding job with this particular camera, but my first nature shooting by it is a little disappointing whether it wasn't to the spare battery.
