A Study On Sikh Turban

By Freda Watts

In some parts of the world, people always cover their head in a way that is good looking. Research on the Sikh turban shows that wearing of these scarfs is part of peoples tradition. When one may be new in these areas they feel out of place and may end up adapting the culture.

A study on Sikh turban shows that there are a number of reasons why some people cover their hair.one there is that group of people that cover it to show their economic state. People who are financially stable in Arabs area of residence use the scarf to show that they have money.

Sometimes it may be part of fashion. Fashion and design is an industry that control how people dress. If a model uses a head scarf people find it cool and following day a lot of the people will be wearing scarfs all over. So some people just wear scarfs since they find them to be good looking.

Another reason behind wearing the scarf is to show how wealthy one is. In the Arabs land the wealthy people wear the scarfs to show their class. By this one can just tell if one is rich or poor. Sometimes the poor feel out of place and not appreciated.During ceremonies people wear the scarfs to signify something. There is no way one will just wear a certain scarf that is meant for another ceremony. Red scarfs are worn during the wedding ceremonies by the men. Women have different scarfs to those of men.

There are many types of scarfs depending on the colors. Among the known and mostly used scarfs are red, black, white, orange and green. Scarfs can also be categorized by the way they are tied and their sizes. Some scarfs are some meters long while others are small. The way one ties the scarf depends mainly on the size of the scarf and the reason they are wearing the scarf.

Christians use the scarfs for religious purposes. Depending on the churches believe some churches have both men and women cover their heads all the time. Other churches only ask the female to cover their hair either during the services time or all the time. The way the scarfs are tied may differ, some cover even the years while others just cover their hairs.

Some churches restrict on the colors. Some use only one color. One may have come across a certain type of believers who tie red, white or green head scarfs. Some may add a cross on their scarfs to show the one that Jesus was crucified. Some churches may not really care about the color or the material of the scarf one uses.

A study on Sikh turban shows that the head scarfs can be used during different weather conditions. For example during wet seasons one may cover their hair to prevent it from getting wet. Sometimes one may have relaxed their hair and it may not be advisable to wet it. With continuous rain which gets into contact with the relaxed hair may make it cut off.Still if it is very cold one may cover their hair and head to prevent getting some serious health sicknesses that develop from a lot of cold to the head.
