The first thing you will notice while you are watching the show is that the animation is extremely well done and the colors which are used are extremely bright but still easy on the eyes.

Dora is a little girl who is always kind spirited and does not let hurdles hold her back. Her and her best friend Boots are always seeking to go on cool adventures during the show.

Should you just watch a kid play, their creativeness take them where ever they want to go and do whatever they wish to accomplish. Dora brings this particular sense of journey to the television screen and makes it actual for the children who are watching.

Another thing that our fun loving hero is so well-liked for, is her big heart. She loves to help people and tries to do it throughout the cartoon very often. This is good education for children who are viewing.

Audiences who watch Dora the Explorer will also learn how to speak the spanish language. Dora herself is actually hispanic and throughout the show this girl uses easy spanish phrases to make you confident with the language. Kids like this and they select the words up quickly. Quicker than when they are sitting in class and trying to learn this.

The bad man of the show is a villain named Swiper. His name signifies what he always tries to do, that's swiping stuff that are not his. While in the act you should shout "Swiper, no swiping" thrice and he will stop what he is doing.

If you do this correctly Swiper will yell "Oh, man" and feel disappointed because he could not steal what he sought. This is a good lesson that shows kids that stealing is not a good thing to take part in. To bad Swiper does not get disciplined for attempting to steal, that will make it a little more realistic.

At the end of each journey everybody is happy, because Dora finished her journey and starts singing a song called "we did it". This is a fun song and you can perform a long with Dora and move with her, also. Children really like this part, because they feel like they are a part of the show.
