Music in the early 70's

By Steve Rian

Rock Group's Swing Tip-Hold on Loosely-But Never allow Go ". 38 Special"

"If you cling too tightly, you're certain to lose control. " was the ending of this verse for any 70's rockband named "38 Special. "

It was the song I had been humming when i had my third lesson having a golf pro. After 30 many years of playing, I thought it had been time for you to hone my game to some razor's edge trying to consistently score within the upper '90's.

Yes, a long-suffering hacker, but an authentic lover on the game. I used to be taking lessons from the "Guaranteed Golf" framework. Essentially this product was 8 weeks of lessons for $169. Weekly another "key" was aimed at and practiced. (More information about the lessons in another article)

"Joe, if you cannot swing the club freely, " said the pro. "You'll do not have any consistent distance or control.... And also you can't swing it freely recover death grip you will have now. I want to explain to you what I mean"

He took my 5 iron and tried showing me the key benefits of a "light and loose" grip when he suddenly said, "Your grips are too slick. When was the past time you experienced new grips? " I used to be thinking back in size 36 pants... Thus i knew ?t had been a good, number of years ago...

Weight loss grip loosely with slick grips. I would like your grip to become light so that you can transfer the ability and speed within your shoulders and arms. Weight loss make that transfer without having to be relaxed. Weight loss relax having a tight death grip like this on the clubs. Whenever you grip tightly you shrink your entire body which doesn't make the ball travel far or where you would like it to..

So started taking into consideration the the song title. The message for my round of golf, (besides trying out knitting) was get new grips.... I couldn't afford every one of them at same time, therefore i did the woods first then mid-irons since i have swung them the hardest...

With new grips, I felt like I can grip lightly and better transfer my turn etc. It worked, i quickly could swing slower but still have the speed of my club hitting the ball etc. I still quietly cry within the course, but that's another story.

So wait loosely, but never allow go... New grips help. You'll not cling too tightly and lose control.

A '70s rockband held a vital within a golf swing sequence... isn't music & golf wonderful..?
