Although some were still facing different discrimination, it was not as rampant as what they had before. But the most important thing is they were given freedom and rights.
This even gave rise to two of these most controversial groups. These groups were among the people who made a change in everything. The very reason for this is because of what happened to their economy. And this breakdown prevented some military and as well as the political leaders.
They had undergone the Reconstruction Era which caused them so many violence. This was the time when they are undergoing many other adjustments that had been made by the war that happened. But because some of those people did not agree with what had happened. They were able to make some riots that caused some to felt some violence. This also was the start of such groups that were racists and discriminated the black ones.
Because of that war, many people shed their blood, many lives were taken. The recorded number of deaths was raised by eight hundred thousand. This number does not include those battles that followed that day, not even the riots that had happened. This even has a higher number of deaths than World War II had. This marked a very bloody day in history.
But these do not only suggest the bad things that had happened along the way, but it has its own significance in why this had happened. It gave rise to many people who become courageous enough and was able to make something new to rise up, and for the freedom to be achieved.
Blacks were able to enjoy the freedom they need. Even though misfortunate happened in the past, this does not mean that we must say it was a bad thing already. But this becomes a start for many amendments to be done and new discoveries that helped the present time.
