Getting The Best Paint And Drink Jersey Shore Taverns And Pubs Offer For A Great Night Out

By Diane McDonald

There are many taverns, bars and pubs and other drinking establishments on the Jersey Shore so people looking for a night out can stay busy. There are also those places of business that do serve drinks and offer something that is safer than getting behind the wheel drunk. These are the more and more popular bars that offer a party to paint and drink Jersey Shore residents and visitors have found so much fun.

Many of the same taverns, bars, and pubs will be the locations of these parties, so it will be fairly easy to find one. These classes run about two or three hours, so it is not a big piece of your night out and it could be the least expensive time you have spent away from home. It also will be the most creative.

There will be posters hanging on many walls, easily visible, that will tell you about the timing for the next several classes. It will indicate the times and dates. You will also be able to plan your schedule, should you wish to do so, because they will probably be held on the same night of each week.

Another important item might also be on the poster. This will be the availability of wines. The various selections may be included as well as the availability of any other harder drinks. You may also see a notice about soda and or beer in lieu of spirits.

What will be happening at this event is the important thing to most people. The attendees will be doing something they may have never done before. They are learning something they may have been afraid of. They will accomplish something that they have not thought about before.

The thing that is noticed is that everyone is painting the same picture. It will have been picked out by the hosting artist. This may be listed on that poster you saw, or it may be left as a surprise for the evening. It may come from any of a rather large grouping of genres. It could be surrealistic, portraiture, scenic representations or even darker material.

The classes are all conducted much the same. The attendees will filter in and find their easel. The canvass might already be placed on the rail. The drinks will be made available on a side table and brushes, paint, scrapers as well as cloths and other tools will be passed out. The artist will display the image to be worked on and discuss various intricacies with it.

The artist for the evening will show the image they have already painted, showing the members of the room what they did and how they did some things. The class will learn a slightly different brush stroke, new method of mixing paint or new way of seeing what is there. The professionals, who make their living by painting, will help those who need help so everyone can create something they would be able to hang up at home.
