Cleaning A Faux Sheepskin Rug In Easy Steps

By Paul McDonald

In every glamorous house and themed photography, they have something in common which is this kind of fabric since this could add drama or cuteness. People usually see them on the floor but that is not their only function for they can be placed in chairs or beds. Their fluffiness is just what we want to feel. However, things do not always stay clean as they used to be.

Some people just leave them dirty for it looks like the cloth really takes a long time to be washed and dried. To bring convenience on this matter, we have a short procedure in cleaning a faux sheepskin rug in easy steps. We will not only make them new to look at again but we shall bring its fluffiness back.

In fact, have this procedure done in summer, spring, and autumn because the winter season can be a bother to make the process long to take. Now for its first way, get the cloth and shake off its particles. This practice can suppress the particles that have been stuck so that there are lesser substances that can be included in the washing.

Find a really big container to place that cloth since washing machines cannot really accommodate most of its big sizes. Gently soak them into the container with lukewarm water. Make sure the water is mixed with a little amount of a mild liquid detergent shampoo with no alkaline. Never use the ones with alkaline on them since that cannot achieve great results.

Wash all of which the right way and do not mix that with the improper soap since that may remove the fur and make them stiff as a rock so an individual can say goodbye to its fluffiness. Take all the time an individual needs by rubbing all parts and never ever be too quick about this. They need a gentle wash.

Swish the cloth delicately for about three or five minutes. For those who have been using a washing machine, do that with mild force. This time, replace the dirty water being used and place warm water on the container. Put the fabric back to get rid of the few soap and dirt that were still hanging on the cloth.

Afterward, roll the fabric and rinse by squeezing. Avoid hanging them outside. Find a large towel and place it in the flat surface. The fur shall be placed above that so that its liquid will go through the towel. Placing them with the strong heat of the sun will only make the fur to become hard. In fact, the natural air will do its work to dry that.

While that is still slightly wet, grab a metal bristle brush to brush that. Do that and the advantage of a dry season speeds up the process. Once that has been already dried, give it one more brush again.

Those are just the simple steps to follow in cleaning them so there is nothing to complain about in doing that since the steps are easy. All we have to keep in mind is to use the right products that are mild. Now getting them dirty is not included in your problems anymore.
