The Avengers & Why Fleet Graphics Matter

By Robin Setser

Marvel is one of the most recognizable companies in both comics and entertainment as a whole. One of the reasons for this is the popularity of The Avengers, a team of Marvel superheroes with various degrees of popularity behind them. To say that this name matters would be an understatement, especially amongst children and comic book enthusiasts alike. However, in order for this entity to reach greater heights, the possible utilization of fleet graphics should be discussed.

The Avengers, for the uninitiated, is a coalition of Marvel superheroes. When there are bigger threats they are unable to take apart by themselves, they work together to ensure the safety of humanity. For both comic book fans and those who are simply looking to be entertained, it's easy to see why this concept works so well. It's great for those who are fans of multiple superheroes and cannot help but ask the simple question, "What if?"

Along with the sheer magnitude of The Avengers, as a concept, there's also the aesthetic component that companies like JMR Graphics cannot overlook. First of all, think about how different the superheroes in The Avengers look. Iron Man, for one, is a red-and-gold armored warrior, whereas The Hulk is a being that changes form whenever anger takes hold of him. These are just a few examples to note, and reasons why they can make for intriguing fleet graphics.

As eye-catching as these fleet graphics can be, it will not matter unless they are made with build quality in mind. It's important to consider that certain types of vinyl hold up better than others, especially in the various environmental conditions that these items are expected to endure. In addition, they should be as easy to take off as they are to apply, especially when replacements are needed. These are just a few of the key components associated with the aforementioned build quality.

There's no denying the fact that The Avengers are recognizable, even amongst those who may not be avid comic book fans. They have been able to drum up an ample degree of interest, which means that their inclusion into fleet graphics makes that much more sense. Of course, one has to consider the build quality associated with these graphics. As long as this particular note is taken into account, long-term success is likely to be had by all parties involved.
