This usually goes together because an artistic mind loves everything that resembles beauty. And certainly because of this, your mind will most likely be filled with many ideas about fashion. However, in fashion sketching, you will have to exaggerate and leave some white spaces to show some key folds and shadows.

Then render proportions which are appropriate for the age and gender of the model. Take note that for adult figures, you have to keep the heads small so that it would reflect a graceful look. Here is a tip to begin with. Start by drawing a stick figure to set your pose and proportions. Using this, make sure that the model looks balanced.
