Should I Cover Up My Tattoos For An Employment Interview?

By Nelson Alter

In case you have an employment interview coming, and you feel like hiding your tattoos is going to be a great way for you to get your foot in the door, then you might choose to test some of these tattoo cover up ideas that will help you in this area. I've got a couple of ideas that I want to share with you, and several tips because I don't think it's always smart to hide your tattoos in every situation.

One thing you have to contemplate is the location of the tattoos that you are thinking about hiding. Obviously, when you have a tattoo on the back of your own neck, and you're a guy, then there really is very little you can do to cover that up. There's a possibility that you might wear a turtleneck, but you don't wish to do that if it's the middle of the summer and you'd appear stupid walking around in a turtleneck in the sweltering heat.

So you need to be sensible concerning the way you cover up your own tattoos. Don't just go with the fast cover up if it doesn't make sense to your specific situation. People will feel you're odd and they'll also notice that you'll have something that you're attempting to hide and you don't want to draw that type of attention to yourself because it's very negative.

You can get away with hiding tattoos on your own arms, legs and other parts of your body that can quickly get hidden with clothes. And when a woman has a tattoo on her neck, she could obviously allow her to hair down that day to cover up the tattoo for the interview. Just make it a point to be very discreet and make it look natural if you are hiding your tattoos with clothes and everything must be fine.

I really hope you take these tips as you wish your tattoo coverings to look really natural. It would not look good to make yourself look further out of place.
