Information On Contending Conservative Candidates Illinois 2014

In the political arena in America, voters need to be assured that their needs will be look after by the favorite party. One of the parties that people are getting more and more comfortable with is a conservative. Democracy has to be there for any country to succeed in protecting the rights of its citizen, and that is why conservative candidates Illinois 2014 decided to compete so that they can fulfill the dreams of their voters.

In the various districts, competition was heated with candidates moving the masses in a great way. In the 16th District, the game was the same, candidates faced off each other in a historic way. The district covers Chicago suburbs and north central Illinois. It stretches to the Indiana and Wisconsin borders. The district also stretches to the Rockford, La Salle, DeKalb and Watseka. The competition in this district was marked with a heated struggle for power.

When in the competition, the politician will prefer to compete where they are known most like their home towns. This was witnessed in the Manteno area where most voters are democratic, and they prefer to have their own who is Adam kin zinger. Although he won the race, he had a huge competition from the republican who is Don Manzullo a former pilot in the air force.

Another district was the 2nd district with many candidates competing. It is classified as a heated strong point for election. The area runs from Southern parts of Chicago, stretching to Kankakee to the Indiana borders. Jesse Jackson junior became the first elected leader during the electoral process in 1995. Come 2014, Jesse got a good competitor to oust him, Debbie Halvorson standing as a former representative in US. Jackson faced various challenges, both political and personal. However, he found solace in the fact that he had emerged winner in the last 16 votes with 80% of voters favoring him.

In the 2nd District, trouble continued brewing as Halvorson made the personal and political troubles of Jackson a center of attention. Halvorson had earlier on lost to Adam Kinzinger in 2010 in a different district. The challenger of Jackson was a former cosmetic saleswoman for Mary Kay.

The competition did not stop there because in 8th district, there were more emerging twists and the voters made the decision of electing their favorite candidate. The district has many areas which includes Bloomingdale, Schaumburg and Elgin. There were 2 democrats who declared their interest in the race which consist of Tammy Duckworth a former Iraq war veteran and also worked as an assistant secretary in the Barrack Obamas administration.

Tammy Duckworth was challenged by his other democrat raja krishnamoorthi who had earlier lost his election in the year 2010 as an Illinois comptroller. He took his time to give his democrat challenger a tough competition. These two democrats were good in challenging each other.

Other competitors in 2014 include Joe Walsh a Congressman. He is known for attacking Obama administration and his TV appearances. In 2010, Walsh had won in a nearby district. These among other competitors like Don Manzullo a Republican has shaped the competition in Illinois. This is where freshmen had to face incumbent aspirants while others were jumping and hoping from one district to another.
