A famous comedian and actor, George Lopez is known to be making a name of his own for more than a decade in film and comedic industry. Started as a standup comedian back in 1980s, he then later appeared on several television programs such as Comedy Club and The Arsenio Hall Show. Recently, at a Jimmy Kimmel Live interview, the multitalented actor just announced a George Lopez World Tour that will include several stops in Texas and in Hawaii.
Lopez is currently on tour beside with other famous comedians, D. L. Hughley, Cedric The Entertainer and Eddie Griffin. The tour has already started sometime last year and has been ongoing as we speak. They are all across the United States at this point and has just debuted a BET comedic series which is based from the tour.
HBO released a promo video advertising his The Wall World Tour in which he mentioned he will tackle several societal issues that are rampant today. Based on the schedules found in his website, George would also be visiting Hawaii and Canada for the live tour. There are no further releases as of yet about stop over to other countries.
By November 23, he is at Mandalay Bay at Las Vegas in Nevada. As shown in his website, by the first of December, will be at El Paso in Texas, at the Abraham Chavez Theatre. The following day he is going to be in the Wagner Noel PAC in Midland.
By the second week of December, he is going to be live at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Canada in the city of Ontario. The last tour dates are roughly going back in areas of California and Texas. On December 28, which is his last show for this year, he will be at Microsoft Theatre in L. A. In California.
Most of his time for the tour starting from June till August, he will be situated in The Mirage in Nevada which is set to take place next year. An upcoming thriller film which casts Taye Diggs and John Cusack that would be released in which he also starred. He also is producing a movie, Walking with Herb, will soon take place.
He was famous for his self entitled sitcom which he produced along with Sandra Bullock, Bruce Helford and Robert Borden was aired in 2002. The plot of the series was about his life working and raising his children with his wife. The whole series lasted for six seasons and was televised on ABC Network.
The comedian hosted his self titled late night television talk show called Lopez Tonight on TBS Network back in 2009. He had numerous famous guests that appeared on the show such as Jennifer Lopez, Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Kobe Bryant, and the current U. S. President, Donald Trump. In 2011, it received a Telly Award for TV programs, segments or promotional pieces film or video comedy and an ALMA award for favorite TV Reality or Comedy Personality or Act.
Around mid 2011, TBS Network just announced that they will no longer another season of the show due to its poor ratings. The show only aired for two seasons and premiered its finale on August 11, 2011. It was also said that Lopez served only as a tester to TBS for its ability to compete in the late night market.
