At present times, younger and more experimental musicians are emerging into the scene, causing many to redefine numerous genres of music today. With more musicians receiving their share of the spotlight, men and women today feel compelled to explore their musical tastes and preferences. Yet without the prominence of older artists who established these genres, none of them would exist today.

A genre that has been around since the late nineteenth century is defined by its unique sound and use of blues and ragtime elements. It was first crated by various musicians who belonged to the African American community based in New Orleans, but is universally enjoyed and performed by artists worldwide. In relation with this, stated below are some fascinating details on the Chuck Pafenbach trio.

The first member of this group is Jeff Helmer, who is most notably the director of Jazz in the University of Texas. Furthermore, he also teaches courses regarding the subject and is regarded as Professor Helmer by his many students. With regard to his work in this particular group, he plays the piano expertly and has been included in numerous nationwide competitions, where he was a finalist at least twice.

John Fregmen is another professor in the same university as well, and specializes in teaching young students how to play bass guitar. He is known for his improvisation, which makes all his performances unique and one of a kind. With regard to his work as a bass player, he has appeared on the David Letterman show and was featured in many television theme songs and movies.

Evidenced by their name, Chuck is the person credited for founding the band and bringing the three of them together to perform and record songs. He is the appointed drummer and is also a Jazz professor working for the same university. He was featured a few times in many Austin magazines and newspapers, who sited him as an excellent drummer in their area.

Their first work was released in two thousand two, during the year they came together to create music. It was recorded at the famous Bismeaux studio located in Austin, Texas. It contained only three songs and was appropriately titled Introducing. The three titles were all covers of famous songs, most notably a good rendition of Bye Bye Blackbird, originally performed by Ray Henderson was included.

When 2005 rolled around, they released High Life. This time, it comprised ten tracks, which were also respectful renditions of old singles that are considered classics by most enthusiasts and fans of this genre. Sam Seifert is cited as their producer, who also directed the band musically to create a more defined sound. For their album artwork, Ann Pinion is its designer tasked with creating a good cover.

Jazz Dance is most notable for its use of La Danse by an artist called Henri Matisse. Ann Pinion is responsible for choosing the art, who has stated that she believed the painting fully captured the essence of this album. All the tracks were recorded at the Bismeaux, a popular studio in Austin. A remarkable rendition is Moon Dance, originally performed by Van Morrison.

In two thousand eleven, they released their latest work and called it World Beat. This time, it contained nine tracks and were covers of popular songs. Will Harrison stepped in to help Sam with production, creating a more defined and polished sound that the previous albums lacked. Jose Mata is credited with its album art, who used a simplistic design to showcase the new album.
