Social Media Savvy Celebrities, With Internet Marketing Companies

By Robbie Sutter

Celebrities and social media seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly. Those who are often in the public eye seem to be the most likely to take advantage of digital media, which is a category that social media falls under. Some celebs have done social networking more effectively than others, though. As a matter of fact, when it comes to those that have used this platform well, here are a few of the most prominent that Internet marketing companies can tell you about.

"Star Trek" fans know him as Mr. Sulu, but others will know him by his real name: George Takei. If you're a frequent Facebook user, you have probably come across Takei's posts quite a few times, meaning that you'll know he's quite focused on comedy. Others have taken a shine to his humor, as evidenced by the over 9.7 million likes he has accumulated over the course of time. Needless to say, this is just one of the many celebrities that have taken full advantage of social media.

Another individual that has done well, in terms of social media, has to be Ellen DeGeneres. Talk show enthusiasts know exactly who she is, and they might be able to tell you just how popular she is on different social networking sites as well. All you have to do is look back to March in 2014, when her selfie featuring other prominent actors at the Oscars became a re-tweeted hit. Since then, others have tried to emulate what Ellen had created.

While the celebrities discussed earlier aren't social media slouches, they don't seem to come close to Lady Gaga. According to authorities on the matter like www.fishbat.com, the famous musician is quite prominent on social media, as evidenced by her 17 million followers and 60 million followers on Instagram and Twitter, respectively. It's also worth noting that her Facebook page stands at over 61 million likes. Suffice it to say, Lady Gaga is nothing short of a social media success.

Even though there have been other successful celebrities on social media, the ones discussed earlier are among the top tier. They have been able to create engaging content, marketing themselves in the process. What this means is that if you want to find success in your own right, it wouldn't be out of the question to follow their cues. Who's to say that you won't be more inclined to use social media in the future?
